ABOUT
Dragon Lights is an International touring exhibit that has thrilled millions of guests around the world. Each exhibit is custom built for the venue that it is playing. Dozens of Chinese artisans travel to the event site to hand make all of the exhibits. This amalgamation of light and art is intended to both thrill and illuminate. Dragon Lights is an opportunity to explore the culture of China. From March 30th to May 6th, Dragon Lights will illuminate Soldier Field with thousands of handcrafted light sculptures, live Chinese acrobat performances, traditional handicraft demonstrations and many more programs that attract people of all ages. The festival is open nightly Monday to Sunday. Some festival highlights include:
- Dragon lantern display of over 200ft long and 2 stores high.
- More than 35 sets of larger-than-life and handcrafted light sculptures that glow at night.
- Stunning live culture performances every night.
- Traditional Chinese handicraft demonstrations and items for sale.
- Authentic Chinese and Asian food options throughout the festival.

CULTURE
The DRAGON LIGHTS at Soldier Park will light up with 39 larger-than-life illuminated displays crafted by Chinese artisans. Our team of artisans hail from Zigong, Sichuan, China’s cultural capital for the ancient art of lantern-making.
In addition to lanterns, nightly performances, and handicrafts, the event will also offer food and beverages. Our menu includes a variety of Chinese and traditional fair food, as well as assorted beverages.

Sunday-Thursday: Stage Performances: 6:30, 8:00 PM
Friday & Saturday: 6:30, 8:00, 9:00 PM
Performances are included in festival admission.
Chinese Lanterns
Dragon Lights - Illuminating the Fairpark brings thrilling entertainment and ancient Chinese culture to life during this 5 week event.
Traditional Handicrafts
Visitors also get a chance to see how some of the most popular Chinese handicrafts are made at the festival. Handicraft demonstration this year includes inner bottle painting and a special calligraphy painting gallery.
Nightly Performances
Each night of the festival offers two amazing stage performances each week night highlighting Asian culture and art. Entertainment varies nightly. Acts include Spinning Tops, String Instruments, Juggling, Unicycle, Face Changing and Martial Arts Demonstrations from China! Performance times are posted at the Welcome Gate nightly.

Parking is available in Soldier Field’s Waldron Parking Garage and North Parking Garage for $15.
Public Transit:
The RTA Travel Information Center provides scheduling information for all CTA, Metra and PACE services.
Accessible Parking:
Accessible parking is available in all Soldier Field Parking facilities. The closest parking garage to Dragon Lights is the Waldron Parking Garage just south of the stadium, off of 18th Street (across the street from the festival).

Tickets are good for any night of the current season that the event is open, including the extension. There is no refund due to rain, power outages, and/or other unforeseen conditions. There are no refunds for unused tickets. Please Note: Online and digital ticket holders will still need to wait in admission lines to enter the grounds.
